1. Brown
the sausages on a grill or in a skillet. When the sausages
   
are brown, cut them lengthwise down the middle with a knife. Brown
   
the insides.
2. Heat
a nonstick sauté pan. Add the bell peppers and onions. Cover
   
and sauté until vegetables turn limp.
3. Cut the
Italian bread lengthwise. Put the sausages in the bread and
   
add the onions and peppers.
4. Cut into
serving size pieces and serve.
