

    
1. Use a garlic press or food processor
to finely crush the garlic. Place
        
the crushed garlic in a bowl. Add the salt and mash the salt and garlic
        
to form a paste. Add the olive oil and basil. Stir to blend well.
 
    
2. Bring
a large pot of water to a rapid boil. Add the linguine and stir.
        
Cook 10 -12 minutes or until tender.
 
    
3. Drain the linguine and return it to
the pot. Add the garlic and oil mixture
        
and toss to coat the linguine well.
 
    
4. Serve
and top with the grated Parmesan cheese.
